This Travel Bug is a memoriam to Jack Walp. He was a US Marine. It would make Jack very proud to visit any US Military facility, at home or abroad. It would also be nice to have it's picture taken with The Red White And Blue.

Geoguin with For Jack Too

Jack was mine and Geoguins supervisor at Youngstown State University. He was like a kid at Christmas when he received a new aluminum pipe wrench. The first time it was used was in the basement at Maag Library, and unfortunately for me and the pipe wrench there was a defect. I was tightening something with it, and the handle broke off in my hand. The look on poor Jacks face was as if someone kicked him in the knee. He was very upset, and he kind of held it over my head until a replacement came. Then it became a joke that I have yet to live down.

The reason I am calling this TB "For Jack Too" is because the cache that "For Jack" was placed was muggled.

Geoguin found this, and immediately though of Jack, and when he showed it to me I had to do everything to keep the tears from flowing.

Thanks for moving this Travel Bug along, and take a few minutes to remember someone you've lost.
