Current Goal

The goal of this little guy is to meet as many dogs as possible and be worn by them. Please only take this Travel Bug if you are willing to take a picture of your dog wearing it and then post the picture on the Travel Bug page.

About This Item

So about a month ago I had to go to Seamus' 10th Birthday Bash. Seamus is a very famous dog 'round these parts. Mugsy thought it was only appropriate that she dress for the occassion so she donned this very classy collar.

Mugsy, however, is quite the tomboy, and would rather not be wearing this collar, she much prefers her red collar with the red carabiner and her dog tag which proudly proclaims her status of "GeoDog".

Please take this bug, take a picture of your dog wearing it, and post that picture on this page. All too often TBs seem to lose their way, so I'm asking that people only take it if they can do these two things -- and then pass it along. Also, if you could post the pictures HERE as opposed to the cache pages (you can do it there, too), since it's easier for me to just read about it here.

Mugsy and I are really excited to see some other GeoDogs, and we hope they enjoy looking quite elegant!

Not necessary, but would be enjoyable: I'd love to see a NYC caching dog with this collar on as Mugsy has visited and loves New York! Also, she's a big fan of Long Island, where her best friend, Squealy lives, and my mom, who spoils her rotten. If we could see some caching dogs from Long Island that would be great -- especially those in the Oyster Bay area.

THANK YOU!

I found your TB Tag in BEWARE!!! (GC16Y1W) It is missing the collar, but according to the cache log "lostgranny" took it with her in exchange for other items. You'll have to contact her to see if you can get the other half of your TB. Let me know what you want to do with your Tag.

moved to another cache, so it wasn't stuck here all summer. Forgot to write down the tracking number. Put in GC16Y1W

Sorry we don't have a dog or a cat to put the collar on but we did drop it off in an animal friendly area.

Greetings from Czarniecki314 and Mugsy, the caching dog. We logged on this morning to see that there was more movement on Mugsy's collar and check it out. Just wanted to thank all of you for keeping this bug going for so long! We Google Earthed the bugs journey and were able to see just how much mileage it's gotten... so cool.

Keep on caching and letting us know about your adventures with Mugsy's collar!

Thanks so much! -- NancyCz & Mugsy

Found this travel bug, but there is nothing attached to it. Left it in cache "Forest Friends". Wish I had grabbed it as our Jack Russell, Abby loves her picture taken.
