About This Item

This coin is trying to win the race by having the most miles logged, caches logged, or points gained. Point system: 5 points per mile in the first leg moved with a geocacher, subsequent legs do not count. 250 bonus points for picture of coin with: geocacher who moved it; 1960 or earlier car or truck; sailboat; lighthouse; flying kite; seagull; message written in the sand; koi fish; a metal or wood sign with Mitchell, Cox, Rex, Steve, Kitty, or Salazar on the sign. (all items must be full size real items, no models, toys, etc.) 250 monthly bonus points available for being placed in any cache involving “Lincoln”, an event cache, CITO cache, fire lookout cache, cache involving climbing a tree, or for being the coin/bug with the least amount of miles. 1000 one-time goal points for: logging a cache in Maine, Utah, Georgia, or California; a 5/5 star cache; a 1/1 star cache; an island cache; a night cache; a cache placed in 2001; a cache placed in 2002; a cache at 9000+ foot elevation; returning to Oregon after traveling out of state. Maximum 750 bonus points per cacher moving the bug. Keep it moving from secure cache to secure cache.

    I discovered this somewhere in south east Oregon... I am sorry that I don't remember which cache it was in, but I drove down US5 from Eugene, OR to the Medford, OR area. It was in a cache within a few miles of that highway.
