To travel to Hazard, KY then on to Pikeville KY to complete the journey across Kentucky. Then to travel to as many US States, Canadian Provinces, and other countries as possible.
When I was in college my roommate and good friend was from Hazard, Kentucky. At school I met many friends from the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. There are many misconceptions about not only these areas but also other areas in the Appalachian Mountains in Kentucky, Tennesse, Virginia, North Carolinia, and West Virginia. When visiting these areas you find that the communities are very close knit and independent. Some of the younger generations have ventured out to "see the world", but there are those that come back to keep these communities going.
