Travel to Saarlouis (Saarland, Germany), Kitzscher (Sachsen, Germany), Luxemburg (Luxemburg), Mulhouse (France) and back to Karlsruhe (Germany).
GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) like the GPS of the US of America are widely used (everywhere, everybody). Therefore, teaching of fundamentals as well as details is one of the most important tasks of good state-of-the-art geodetic education. This semester (winter 2009/10) this fact was confirmed within a multidisciplinary and international course called "GNSS-Vertiefer (Ausgewählte Kapitel zur hochgenauen Positionsbestimmung mit GNSS)" given at the Geodetic Institute of the Karlsruhe Institute od Technology (KIT, Germany). We want to travel this coin to Saarlouis (Saarland, Germany), Kitzscher (Sachsen, Germany), Luxemburg (Luxemburg), and Mulhouse (France). After fulfilling this ambitious mission the coin should be brought back to a cache near Karlsruhe, which will be specified later on.
