Dentists occasionally have orphans for one reason or another wind up with the dentist. A patient of mine came in for a new denture. His old ones were over 20 years old and very worn out. When it was completed, he handed me the old one and said, "I don't ever want to see that damn thing again." It may seem kind of gross to some of you, but I can assure you it is clean and sterile, but please don't put them in your mouth.
