Arnolfo di Brunonio befindet sich auf einer Reise durch Europa. Er möchte möglichst viele, interessante historische Gebäude besuchen und vor ihnen fotografiert werden. Sein Ziel ist Florenz, wo er den Dom und den Spieleladen "Stratagemma" besuchen möchte. ______________________ Arnolfo di Brunonio is travelling europe. He wants to visit old, interesting buildings and wants to be photographed in front of them. His final gole is Florence, were he wants to visit the cathedral and the game-store "Stratagemma".

New goal: When he finally arrived at Florence, Arnolfo was told that an important daughter of the town, Anna Maria Luisa de’ Medici, the last of the Medici, was married with Johan Willhelm von der Pfalz, and moved to Germany, where his own journey started. Her husband and she took care that the town of Düsseldorf changed to one of the most improtnat centers of art in Europe for a short time. A plaza in Düsseldorf is still named after her - this is a place Arnolfo would like to see!

Old goal:

Arnolfo di Brunonio begleitete uns im Herbst 2006 aus dem Florenzurlaub zurück nach Braunschweig. Er stammt aus einer Zinnfigurenreihe, die Teilnehmer des historischen Fußballspiels "Calcio Storico" darstellt, welches seit der Renaissance jährlich auf der "Piazza Santa Croce" stattfindet. Es ist eher ein regelloses Rugby, und Arnolfo, ein gebildeter Architekt, ist deshalb auch nicht Spieler, sondern begeisterter Zuschauer. Nach seinem Aufenthalt in Deutschland zieht es ihn nun nach Florenz zurück. Allerdings möchte er die Reise für seine Studien nutzen und in ganz Europa alte historische Gebäude besuchen und studieren. In Florenz möchte er vor dem Dom fotografiert werden. Auch ein Besuch des Spieleladens "Stratagemma", Via dei Servi, 15R, aus dem er stammt, würde ihn freuen. Und wenn er das "Calcio Storico" erleben könnte, wäre das die Krönung. ______________________ Arnolfo di Brunonio travelled with us from Florence to Brunswick in autumn 2006 after our holidays. He is a member of a set of tin figures, which shows the members of the historical football game "Calcio Storico" which takes place since the renaissance at the "Piazza Santa Croce". It's more like rugby without rules, and that's why Arnolfo, a cultured architect, is an enthusiastic spectator, not a player. After his visit in germany he yearns to travel back to Florence. At the journey he wants to continue his studies and would like to visit old historical builings. In Florence he would like to have a picture of him in front of the cathedral. He would be glad if he could visit the game-store "Stratagemma", Via dei Servi, 15R, where he was purchased. And to see the "Calcio Storico" would be a highlight.
