Current Goal

To travel around the country spreading his message of gratitude to the families of the fighting men and women from the United Kingdom.

About This Item

This is the twin brother of the Woody Loves his Freedom Travel bug currently circulating in the United States. This travel bug is free to travel around the country from cache to cache, thanks in large part to those men and women who volunteer to protect our freedom. While it is easy to see the sacrifice made by these brave people, it is a little more difficult to see the sacrifices made by the families and loved ones who stay at home. Time spent away is time that can never be made up! events missed while serving our country are events lost. A child's first step, or first words, births, weddings of friends, and deaths may pass unseen by those fighting for our freedom. Almost everyone knows someone, a coworker, neighbor, relative, or friend who has family serving in the military. This soldier would like to visit these unsung heroes who stay at home, and pass on a message of gratitude for their sacrifice to keep the United Kingdom a free nation. We would love for you to post pictures of the folks he visits and provide them the URL to this site so they can send the link to those serving in the military.
