About This Item

My Geek Odyssey

In 2009 I was awarded a Teacher Creativity Fellowship from the Lilly Endowment to travel to England and learn about the Mini Cooper. As a part of this I also created a webcomic (www.mygeekodyssey.com) and examined other geeky things that I like. This coin holds the pathtag that I made for the fellowship and the webcomic. This was Mrs. ProfessorZoom's 2000th find and her first time visiting Sulgrave Manor. Ten years ago she did some needlework that became part of the Elizabethan embroidery in the master bedroom. I looks wonderful and I'm glad we could visit the home of George Washington's ancestors while touring England.
