Arlo's been resting up here in Florida & is ready to get back on the road. He'll be starting his journey in Chicago at the opening of the Garmin Store. After that, he's ready to roam the country, making new friends along the way. Best if he's kept away from Larry Harvey...look what happened last time those two got together.

Will the next person out here please check on my TB Arlo the VW Microbus (visit link) ? He's got a lot of miles on him and has had many adventures. I hope he's not lost.

Some folks got back to me and said they'd check on him. they did, and this is the email I got from them on 9/27:

So either Arlo's shacking up with some hot Corvette, or some Arkansas hillbilly has decided to steal him...either way, no telling if he'll make it to Woodstock...However Arlo's close personal friend is planning to be there, so maybe we can all sit around a campfire and tell Arlo stories in memorium...

hey man, like we missed you at the burningman this year. I was hoping you'd find a way out of that hillbilly state and come have some real fun. I even had a fake ID that you could have used. We came across Arlo today in a beautiful park near the banks of the Arkansas River just outside of Little Rock. We are going to show him around Arkansas' Capital City for the next few days; a trip to the Clinton Presidential Library, the Old Statehouse, and River Market. He will get some good R & R here in Little Rock before continuing his journey.
