I want to visit all the USA cities named "Manchester." Once I visit all of those, I'd like to visit our namesake, Manchester, England. Next stop, Manchester Jamaica, and finally I'd like to go back home to Manchester, NH.
Manchester New Hampshire is a mill town. It was one of the largest mill towns in the world. At its peak in the early twentieth century, the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company was the largest textile producer in the world with 30 mills in operation, 17,000 workers, and 8 million feet of floor space. Amoskeag continued to add mills and spindles to reduce the cost of making fabric only to discover that the textile industry throughout the world had too much productive capacity for the market, and the New England mills were the ones to lose out.
This bug comes from the Millyard Museum in one of the old mill buildings in Manchester NH. I'd love to see more Manchesters.

Well it has madew it to the original Manchester here in England, will drop it through one of my old caches in the city centre, then up to the lakes on thursday. where it may pick up with some early year US tourists to get it back the states.

Visiting from Manchester so decided to take this back up there when we go home.
We will find a suitable place to leave it so it can continue its journey.
Looks like it needs to go back to the states though. Plenty more Manchesters over there not yet visited.

Wow, its close now. Google maps tells me that taking the M6 and M5 through Birgmingham is the fastest. So close, so close!

There is no Manchester in France.
So we decided to drop it in Normandy, among the french snails, in an area where a lot of british people have houses. I hope it wll be transferred to United Kingdom.
