I would like to travel the country and world, meeting lots of interesting people and seeing lots of interesting places. On my travels, I want to spread a message for people to please pay attention to your surroundings while travelling on the roads. Too often, someone pays the price for someone else's failure to pay attention.
I am releasing this coin in memory of Todie Joe Phillips, who was taken from us on 8/12/2008 when another driver turned left in front of him while he was riding his motorcycle. The other driver was not injured. Please be as attentive as possible when travelling. If you are tired, pull over and rest. If you are hungry, pull over and eat. If you are not paying attention, pull over until you are ready to watch out for everyone else. Too many lives can be affected, even if yours is not. Whille on my travels, please take my picture as often as possible, and post them on this page, so that others, including my friends and owner, may be able to see where you have brought me. Thank you, and remember to PAY ATTENTION!
