Current Goal

If this geocoin is shown to you, please explain to the person that is showing it, this geocoin is not to be kept.
This geocoin is owned by me and it needs to be dropped in a geocache.
The purpose of this geocoin is to travel from cache to cache.
Thank you...

The goal of this coin is to spread the message of Bike Awareness, while travelling from cache to cache. While this coin is travelling with you, take some time to think of the things that you can do to improve safety on the roads. Please write them in your logs.

Please don't use the "took it" to or "visited" option, just drop the geocoin in the next cache you visit that is save and big enough to hold coins.
Let others enjoy read the message of this geocoin too.
It is NOT the goal of this geocoin to make as much miles as possible, neither to keep track of all geocaches you have visited. Please use your own trackable to do so.
Thank you...

About This Item

Look Twice Sample

Riders face more hazards then drivers, PLEASE give them more room!!! Riding safely takes everyone’s cooperation and patience. It's a painful fact that motorcycle riders are 30 times more likely to be killed in a crash than any other vehicle drivers.

On August 12, 2008, Tod was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a left turning vehicle. Tod was the third member of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. This coin is released in his memory and in memory of all motorcyclists killed on the road. The coin is part of the Bike Awareness project, started by Rockin Roddy.

Speeding, inattention, experience, fatigue, drugs and alcohol and illegal manoeuvres are given reasons for causing accidents. YOU have the power to do something to control each of these factors. Some of the catch phrases that have been used to promote safe driving and riding are:
*** Rolling stops kill!*** driving and riding responsible helps save lives!*** Respect those around you, watch for all users of the road!*** Stop driving distracted, look for bikes!*** Bikes have every right a car does, please share the road!*** Look twice for Bikes, you could save a Life! and Riders face more hazards then drivers, PLEASE give us more room!

I left a bug that came down from Sherman, TX. Saw the cache full of trackables needing to go somewhere so I grabbed a few. My advice for people to promote two wheeler awareness is: Put both hands on the wheel, keep your eyes on the road and get your head out of your ........uh..........cell phone.
