to get home to the Lake District in England
I was made in the Lake District in the North of England at the Stott Park Bobbin Mill that actually manufactured wooden bobbins up until 1971. (You colonials might call me a spool.) Because the mill was in use until 1971, it has been largely preserved and most of the 19th century technology is still in place. For now I would like to roll from cache to cache visiting new and exciting places in these North American colonies. But my real goal is to get home to my beloved Lake District. If someone could take me there that would be wonderful!
