About This Item

angel of hope

This angel of hope would like to travel from cache to cache spreading hope..  This angel of hope holds prayers for all those who are sick and for their family and friends.  This coin was originally started for River Cacher.  He lost his battle with cancer so I have changed the journey.  Please add your prayers to the logs that some day there will be a cure for cancer.  Everyone is affected by cancer in one way or the other.  There has been great strides but there is so much left to do.  I hope this angel will travel until cancer isn't the big C any more.

The owner Maine Family sent this to me to start on its journey. Thank you and I will move it as soon as possible.

Well, my husband has cancer. When he was diagnosed I had just started Geocaching. I have found getting out to just have a little fun means a lot. I have also met a wonderful circle of supportive friends in the Geocaching community.

Offering up a prayer for River Cacher and family for sunny days and better times. Believing that through prayer and with financial support through American Cancer Society Fund raisers a cure will be found. Maine Family deserves a BIG Thank You for donating some unactivated Geocoins for the Maine Geocachers Relay for Life Team fund raising too.

Cancer effects the patient AND the family/caregivers. They become one - a team! Watch for a new initive from the American Cancer Society soon - one which focuses on the Team (patient and caregiver).
