Current Goal

Travel southwards and visit geocaches of at least 40° southern latitude. If you’re in good luck and see an Aurora australis take a photo and add it to your log. Please drop this coin in muggleproof caches only!

About This Item

Aurora australis & Aurora borealis

Even if southern auroras use to appear south of at least 60°S, the goal is to visit caches south of 40°S because there’s not much landmass south of 60°S except for Antarctica (and thus only very few caches). But maybe this coin will make it to Antarctica - that would be great! The ultimate goal would be to make a photo of the coin at this cache: GCHN13
The counterpart of this coin is called Aurora borealis and is owned by my boyfriend (Krischan82). It has the contrarious task to travel northwards to admire an Aurora borealis.

We found this TB in a cache in Tasmania , Australia (GC3DFB3) however it hasn't been logged as being placed in this cache. We did not take the TB only recorded the tracking number so we could eventually log it.
