Grabbed Twink on my Floodwood loop paddle from Rollins Pond on 8/13. Twink is now in Syracuse. While it is not Hollywood, there is a film opening this fall on the Syracuse University Football hero Ernie Davis and Hall of Fame coach Ben Schwartzwalder (played by Dennis Quaid) - The Express http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0469903/
Another claim to fame of Syracuse film is the Paul Newman comedy Slap Shot http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076723/ which was not only filmed in the ice rink in Syracuse but featured the Syracuse Blazers hockey team, which Bob Costas was the voice of during his years at SU http://sports.wnyo.org/2008/01/costas-talks-syracuse-blazers-hockey.html
A complete list of works filmed in Syracuse can be found here http://www.imdb.com/List?endings=on&&locations=Syracuse,%20New%20York,%20USA&&heading=18;with+locations+including;Syracuse,%20New%20York,%20USA
Many sportscasters, actors, and filmmakers have made their start right here in Syracuse. Twink, this is your chance to shine.
9/2/2008 - "Twink in the Twilight Zone" was a pilot that got scrapped, but Twink is not giving up. Here we see Twink zoning to Rod Serling's star on Syracuse's Walk of Fame. This will be her last stop with me, as I am sending Twink to the stars ! Break a leg, no uh, arm, no uh.. prism ! Yeah !
