The dream came true - I want to stay in Iceland
David was with me for seven and a half years.
On the first anniversary of his death, I sent our shared dream on a trip: David was afraid of cities and moving cars. For that reason, I always promised him that if I ever had enough money, we would go to Iceland, because the chance of neighbors and noise there is pretty slim.
I could not keep that promise then; great fortune has not found me yet. For this reason, I wish that this TB will go to Iceland in David's memory. It would be particularly kind if you could choose caches in the woods or in dog parks. Just not too much traffic! If possible, please do take a picture of the TB with a (your?) dog. Or tell a little story about something that you have experienced with your dog.
On May 11th 2012 David's Dream came true. Thanks to all of you who helped David's TB - especially to pebacz and, of course, aloness. You made me cry for joy.
Thanks to Team Francey, too, who was the first to tell me that the TB arrived at his final destination and who kindly wrote the new mission on the tag.
Davids body rests in peace at his favorite place in my garden. I'll treasure him in my heart as long as I live. Please let us dream on and let the TB stay in Iceland forever.
