Bringt mich zu Rennveranstaltungen auf der ganzen Welt (z.B. Marathon, Nordic Walking, Wandern, Fahrrad). Mein erstes großes Ziel ist der New York Marathon am 7.11.2010. Dann will ich zu den Olympischen Spielen 2012 nach London und 2016 nach Rio! Und bitte dokumentiert meine Teilnahme mit Bildern!

 

Please take me along to sportive races/runs all over the world (for example marathons, Nordic Walking, hikes, cycle). My first goal is the NY Marathon on 07.11.2010. Afterwards I'd like to take part at the Olympic Games in London 2012 and in Rio 2016. And please document my participation with pics!

Eigentlich bin ich ein frecher Kobold, der Nachtwandlern in den Nacken springt und Sie mit Ohrfeigen wieder auf den richtigen Weg bringt. Man kennt mich aus den Sagen Ch. Ludwig Wuckes und Ludwig Bechsteins. Ich habe aber auch einen eigenen 28km langen Wanderweg, der an vielen sagenhaften Orten der an vielen sagenhaften Orten (und natürlich etlichen Caches, siehe das Listing zum Cache Pummpälzsteg) vorbeiführt und ich liebe Sport. Anlass für meine Reise ist der Via Solutions Thüringen A4LAUF in Eisenach am 10.01.2010. Danach will ich auf der ganzen Welt mitrennen. I'm a goblin, who jumps into the neck of walkers at night and slaps them into the face to bring them back on the right path. I'm known from the legends written by Ch. Ludwig Wucke and Ludwig Bechstein. I also have my own 28km long hiking trail, who leads to a lot of fabulous places and of course many caches (they are listed at the Cache Pummpälzsteg) and I'm fanatic in sports. Der kleine Kobold ist mir aus "Vindolanda View" am Hadrianswall in den Rucksack gehüpft. Auf welchen verschlungenen Wegen er es von Florida hier her geschafft hat, ist mir noch nicht so ganz klar.

Bin gerade auf dem Pennine Way unterwegs und das passt ja zu den Wünschen des Kleinen, auch wenn es kein Wettkampf an sich ist (außer mit sich selbst und mit den Mitwanderern, die man so trifft). Werde ihn bis zum letzen Cache am Weg mitnehmen und dann wieder aussetzen, damit es mit London 2012 auch klappt.

Uh-oh. Forgot to take pic of the little guy in the cache at Cawfields Quarry. He was placed there while we were hiking on Hadrian's Wall. Will post pic of his view when I return to the States. I should have held onto him for three more weeks and he could have done a half marathon in the Smokies of Tennessee. Hope he gets to the Olympics. At least he's in the right country now.

Discovered it from ThePostalAnt who brought it from GeoWoodstock. I'm heading to Scotland and England and plan to leave it near Hadrian's Wall. UPDATE: left TB with Snowplace like home TB at Vindolanda View on Monday, August 22. We tried to find the cache the night before our hike on Hadrian's Wall but came back the next day after hiking from Walltown to Steel Rigg on a glorious sunny day. Spectacular day and happy to find a home for the TBs I brought from the US. Removed junk like a used candle and a pantiliner!!!!! People, please.

Well, this little running fanatic has made it down to Florida. We are planning on doing a half marathon (our favorite distance now) in September, but don't want to hold on to him that long. Will get him moving along pretty soon.
