To travel to the remote places where Jeanette has walked and maybe to the places she didn't walk but were on her list of 'To Do's'. Unfortunately she didn't get the chance to walk them all as sadly she passed away earlier this summer (2009). So please help my mum fulfil her dreams now.
So why the title???????? When we were children, Mum used to tell us that if you listen carefully to the sound of the wood pigeons in the trees, when they talk to each other, they are telling each other, 'I Dooo Like Gravy, I Dooo Like Gravy, I Dooo Like Gravy, I' And according to her (though I have yet to prove it), she told us that the wood pigeons in France tell each other, 'I Don't Like Gravy, I Don't Like Gravy' Listen and see for yourself and tell me what you think they say. And somebody let me know what the wood pigeons in France say. Walks that Jeanette completed: THE PEMBROKESHIRE COAST PATH, THE COLERIDGE WAY, THE DALES WAY, THE RIDGEWAY AND WESSEX RIDGEWAY, THE WOLDS WAY, THE SHROPSHIRE WAY, THE WEST HIGHLAND WAY, THE GOWER PENINSULA, THE PEDDARS WAY, THE NORFOLK COAST PATH, OFFA'S DYKE, GLYNDWR'S WAY, THE CLEVELAND WAY, THE EAST AND WEST MENDIP WAY, THE ISLE OF WIGHT COAST PATH, SPEYSIDE WAY, THE SOUTH WEST WAY, COAST TO COAST, THE COTSWOLD WAY, THE PENNINE WAY, THE CUMBRIAN WAY, THE CALEDONIAN WAY, THE BRECON BEACONS, THE BLACK MOUNTAINS, MOUNT SNOWDON, BEN NEVIS, THE LAKE DISTRICT, SCAFELL PIKE... ETC, ETC, ETC. Places she wanted to travel to: She was due to walk the complete length of The South Downs Way this spring but unfortunately didn't make it. She dreamed of going to Tibet and seeing Mount Everest. She had visited and loved Rome and Sorrento and was due to go there again in 2009.
Mum's travel bug has spent the last year (2009-2010) down near the South Downs and a short spell in Portugal also, thanks all who helped here.
It would be nice to send her on a new exciting journey......Hope you can help.

Hi, this is looking a little sad, the words have completely disappeared and I'm not sure why no-one has picked it up since April! Anyway, it's on the move now - hope to place it a bit further afield.

Retrieved this from the Bourne Park South cache GC2RN07 which is next to a pretty nature reserve in a nice park on the outskirts of Ipswich. Reading about this little bug's purpose and about your mother Jeanette was lovely, and I have moved her to a spot with a smashing view across the River Orwell, the Port of Felixstowe, and beyond the trees the North sea! Its a countryside walk across fields and trees, but busy enough that someone else should pick her up soon.
Good luck with your journey x
