Current Goal

The Prometheus' mission is to seek out and explore Geocaches all over Earth and to gather information to send back home. Keep her traveling at "high warp". Also be on the look out for any hostile aliens (Rogue Klingon Bird of Prey (TB21NWK), Cardassian Battle Cruiser (TB2R5BY)) that could pose a threat to the Federation. If an enemy is located, the Prometheus should "engage" the enemy then both ships should be moved to a new location. Be sure to get pictures of the Prometheus at its locations and attach them to the "Ship's Log".

About This Item

USS Prometheus

The Prometheus is the beginning of the Prometheus Class Starship. The Prometheus Class Starship is a radically different starship in that it's primary mission is for battle. Very few science and exploration labs are included due to its combat role. The Prometheus Class Starship utilizes the Multi-Vector Assault Mode when attacking difficult enemies. In the Multi-Vector Assault Mode, the Prometheus separates itself into three ships each capable of warp speeds. Utilizing an encrypted data link, each ship is controlled by the main computer, acting as one allowing for more precise attacks. The Prometheus Class Starship has 12 Type XII Phaser Strips; 4 Class V Pulse Phaser Emitters; and 5 Pulse-Fire Photon/Quantum Torpedo Launchers. Utilizing 4 of the five warp nacelles in normal mode, the Prometheus can reach a maximum speed of warp 9.9, making it the fastest starship in Starfleet. Cruising speed is Warp 7.
