To go to the Boy Scouts of America 2010 National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia, arriving by July 26, 2010.
After August 4, 2010, the goal is simply to race around the world.
This special car Pinewood Derby car was built and raced by Jimmy of Pack 394 of the Northwest Suburban Council near Chicago. It was released on March 6 in Batavia, IL as part of the nation wide Travel Bug event "Race to 2010" where Pinewood Derby cars from all over the USA will race to the 2010 National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia (http://www.bsajamboree.org). Cars are to arrive in time for the Jamboree dates of July 26 - August 4. A destination cache has yet to be announced as of March 6, 2010. After Jambo, cars that make it will be released to cruise the world. This race is part of the continuing celebration of 2010 being the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.
