Current Goal

Duggy 1 is one of two DC-3 travel bugs I am releasing to race each other for one year. This TB and his racing partner, Duggy 2 will start their journey in my Hendricks Park TB Resort in Eugene, OR. The goal is to see which TB travels the farthest, so please, please, please take one of the Duggys on your next road trip and deposit as far away from where you picked it up.

I am launching these two TBs to pay tribute to my favorite airplane, the DC-3, aka, Gooney Bird. Non-pilots often ask me why I like the DC-3 so much...but other pilots like myself understand that there is just something about this plane that is almost magical.

Duggy1 landed on the big island of Hawaii successfully and without incident. Can't say the same for the ATA airline his courier took over. 4 hour flight delay in Oakland, CA before finally taking off. I had thoughts of seeing if Duggy1 was up to the task, but we finally took flight.
