Awareness and educational tool for people in regards to the welfare of chained dogs everywhere. A dog is a pack animal and relies on humans for love, companionship and the essentials, like food, water and housing. What is the purpose of having a dog tied up and attached to a dog house that is in the far back part of a yard...what is it doing, protecting the 10-12 ft. of area around the dog house for someone? We should treat our loyal companions better than we have...chained dogs develop serious behavior issues such aggresion towards humans and other creatures and psychological problems that destabilize the dog. More and more cities, counties and other municipalities have anti-chaining laws...understanding that keeping a dog chained and unsocialized creates problems in regards to safety for both humans and the animals. It's also a form a cruelty that unfortunately many are subjected...the ones that start out as innocent and loving are often turned into threats and hazzards to our society. Chaining makes the dog vulnerable to the weather, attacks by other animals, and even attacks from bad people. I love my dogs and they are an important part of our family and they are with us in our home. They are sweet, respectful and even protective of my family, and provide great love and joy to us!
