About This Item

KABLOOEY!" is what the WSP Bomb Squad did to my Geocache and this is all that was left. “No Blarney” GC1NBX3 was a camouflage painted microwave oven hidden in the hollow of a huge tree in the woods, plugged in to a non-working outlet attached to the tree. A story about elves baking cookies in the woods was designed for cacher’s entertainment. It gained national fame when our local newspaper ran an article about it‘s demise.
Owner’s note: It really IS a good idea to use the Official Geocache stickers on the OUTSIDE of your cache containers! ��

  I found this at "Rock Quarry" today.  I remember well when the bomb squad blew up the original cache.  It brought fame to Castle Rock.  I'm heading to Palm Springs in a little over a week, so decided to spread the fame and take KABLOOEY down south for some dryer weather.
