Travel around North Texas, and get it’s picture taken with cachers!
Tired of dragging around the huge 1st place trophies from TC 04 and 05? Well this year, North Texas came in 2nd. So our trophy is much smaller (actually first place this year wasn’t much bigger than the 2nd place trophy!). So now when you get your picture taken with this trophy, it won’t be such a camera hog! Also, it will be easier to pack in your luggage to take on trips!
On March 18, 2006 a hardy bunch of North Texas Geocachers attended the Texas Challenge in Inks Lake State Park. This was hosted by The Central Texas Geocachers. A great time was had by all!
A change in format took place this year, and North Texas managed to place 2nd behind the host team, Central Texas.
As is tradition, this trophy has also been turned into a travel bug. See the previous trophies for 2005: Link and 2004: :Link
