Megin is a female 'Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever', born on August 15th 2011 ... PW & Mrs PW collected her from Danehaven Kennels in Norfolk on December 6th 2011.
Megin developed a high grade Mast Cell Tumour in July 2017 and underwent a couple of major operations in August 2017. A very long recovery period followed as the operation left a large open wound. Chemotherapy was then undertaken for around 10 months, after which she made an excellent recovery. A smaller lower grade tumour returned in July 2019 and was removed very quickly after noticing the new lump.
Long may Megin live after two traumatic operations.
