This little tavel bug has been all over the Chamonix valley with me in my backpack this week. He has been down the Vallee Blanche, off-piste skiing over the Grands Montets and elsewhere in the valley. If you would like his GPS tracks to look at in Google Earth, do drop me a message.
I dropped him in this cache - well, I would have done but it was frozen into the rock - but I have checked him out again as I think it would have stayed there until spring. I'd like him to keep moving so I will returm him to the UK with me after his little holiday in the snow so that he can continue and not freeze up under lots of snow.
