Our little padlock Red Ruby has got the blues
Since she heard her new friend's devastating news!
That handsome black guy Padlock Pete
Said he'll soon be beating a hasty retreat.
He explained his mission is to roam
Rather than share her happy home.
He was born to hit the caching trail
And her tears were to no avail.
So soon she'll let go and say goodbye
With a lingering tear in her eye.
We hope once again she'll turn bright red and glad
As she looks back on the good times they had!
