To visit each Capitol city of all fifty states, and Washington D.C.. I would especially like to have my picture taken at each Capitol building and would like to visit other government facilities and military bases along the way. States marked in red have been visited.

This travel bug is my way of paying tribute to my big brother waorgany and his 21 years of service in the U.S. Army. When I released this travel bug in 2006, he was serving in Iraq as a 1SG for the 10th Mountain Division. He has since retired. In a way, he an I are a lot like the United States of America: bound by our common blood, heritage and upbringing, yet independent and different. We share many common interests and values, but we hold just as many that are dissimilar. We have a great love for one another, but don't always see eye-to-eye, and maybe that is what is so great about our relationship and this country: that we can be so very different and still get along and even love one another. And so, the goal of this travel bug is to visit each Capitol city of each of the fifty states, as well as the Nation's Capitol, and to be photographed at each Capitol building. It would also be nice if it could pay a visit to any other government and military facilities along the way. I love you, brother! NOTE: I am releasing the copy of this bug. The original TB passed right by one of its goals (Salem, OR) but never made there. I held out hope that the cacher that grabbed the bug would release it again, but it has not happened. If you do not intend on moving this TB, then please DON'T TAKE IT. Place it in a cache and keep it moving so it can fulfill its goal.
UPDATE: 03/12/2013 This bug has been having fun in Ulster, visiting our ancestors. A fitting way to spend this coming St. Patrick's Day. Thanks to all those that helped it reach the County Down. For those that find it, please bring it back across the pond. It's main objective is still unfulfilled. Cheers.
