Current Goal

My ultimate goal would be to visit the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. The Olympics are but a dream. I really want to travel the World one cache at a time. Should I have the chance, I would like to visit various hockey rinks along the way. No rink too big or too small.

Joe Canuck, The Greatest Player The Montreal Canadians never had. Drafted in the 14th round, 379th overall out of the numbskull league. Joe broke his hockey stick at training camp and had to settle for the job of chief water boy.

Yesterday we visited the Uffizi museum in Florence. And we showed Joe the famous painting of the Birth of Venus.
Today we said goodbye to Joe in the harbor of La Spezia. Hopefully someone else can show him more ice hockey arena’s.

Today we showed Joe the Arena di Verona. Not a real ice hockey stadium, but a very old stadium build 30 AD! It’s one of the biggest amfitheatres of the Roman Empire. It was used for gladiator and animal fights. These days it’s used for opera’s. Every performance 22.000 spectators are enjoying the shows.

Unfortunatelly there wasn’t a nice cache were we could leave Joe, so next stop will be Florence!
