This Shell and Travel Bug is starting in Lakeland Florida and we would like to have it make it's way to Sterling Michigan. During it's travels from cache to cache it would be great if a photo was taken after each find with the shell and travel bug and the people who found it and a brief description about it's travels. Please add the photo and description to the Travel Bugs web page.
The Shell is a 3" hermit crab type shell white and gray granite in color, that was found near the Gulf of Mexico and Anna Maria island. The travel bug is attached to it with 2 black hair ties. I knew I forgot something, and that something was a photo of the shell with the TB dog tags attached. I totally forgot to get a photo of it, if whoever finds the TB would get a photo to upload that would be great! Thanks, CCWSS

Well the little shell made it from Florida to Michigan! Cindy and I retrieved it just about 11 months after we placed it in a cache in Lakeland FL, and retrieved it in Forest Lake MI. We thank everyone who helped it on it's way and a special thanks to "linwoodloon" for getting it to it's final cache for us. This was our first Travel Bug and we had a great time following it on it's trip back to MI. We can't wait to send out another TB so we can again track it on it's way! Thanks again to everyone who made FL to MI Shell Game a success! 😁

This is to everyone that had a hand in making it possible for our TB "FL to MI Shell Game" make it from Fla to Mi! This was our first TB and we could not ask for a better outcome! We plan on placing many more out there and also to help any we find along the way. We are not the most prolific cachers but we love the pastime and have had a lot of fun learning about it. Thanks again to everyone who helped our little "Shell" make it from Lakeland FL to Sterling MI!

Hey Linwoodloon thanks for grabbing our TB! We were going to retrieve it from the Holiday Memories cache, but it got to traveling again! We would be sooo... grateful if you could get our TB to "Sounds Like A River" it would be the most fitting destination for it. And it's also not to far from where we live, if you can just get it in the Sterling area that would be fine to. Thanks sooo... much again, this was our first TB and we had a ball following it during it's travels. Thanks again, CcWsS aka: gpsgnome 😁

Although you wanted to send this little seashell to Sterling, MI there is no geocache in Sterling. We were going to place it in Omer, MI but that container was too small. So we dropped it off just south of Sterling in Pinconning, MI (the cheese capital of the world). Since Florida has often been called called God's Retirement Home, we thought this resting spot would be appropriate. No offense! Pictures will follow.
