After a truly momentous adventure, travelling to the far side of the globe and back again, The Runaway Train has won his race against Blazing Saddles and Chariots of Fire. Not the most direct route to Scotland and back (via New Zealand and a number of other antipodean countries), but he has had a fantastic time and been so well looked after by Rosmar. He will take it easy for a while before starting a fresh challenge, but most of all he's looking forward to meeting up with Rosmar again when they re-visit UK next year.

  • The Runaway Train wins his race! TheNTHunterGatherers (and friend) reunited with The Runaway Train at North Urchfont Series #4. He wins his race from S England to Scotland and back (via New Zealand!).
  • The Runaway Train takes to the tracks again! Reunited with the UK's rail network, the Runaway Train is instantly brought to a standstill by 'leaves on the line' and 'the wrong kind of snow'!

Glad the Runaway train was picked up quickly. The owners would like it to get as close to Salisbury as possible so they can pick it up and set a new mission. I held it for too long thinking I was going up that way but this was as close as I could get - hopefully dizzypair can finish off the journey! Thanks

We have picked up this TB today but will await its logging before moving on. It appears that this TB has won the race as it is now in Hampshire. Is there a new mission for it?
