Düsseldorfer On Tour
Ich komme aus Düsseldorf..
und möchte die Welt bereisen. Bringt mich von Cache zu Cache, über den großen Teich und wieder zurück, hauptsache ich bin unterwegs.
Es wäre schön, wenn ich Fotos von meinen Reisen zeigen könnte - vielleicht findet Ihr ein schönes Motiv aus Eurer Gegend welches genauso schön ist wie meine Heimat?! (siehe rechts)
Coming from Düsseldorf in Germany, I would like to see the world. Take me from cache to cache, across the ocean and back, main thing is I am abroad.
It would be great I could show some pictures from my journeys - maybe you can find some nice spot as beautiful as my hometown?! (see picture)

Der Düsseldorfer Radschläger gilt als älteste Tradition der Stadt Düsseldorf und wurde zu einem ihrer bekannten Wahrzeichen. Das Symbol des Radschlägers findet sich auf vielen Souvenirs und in verschiedenen Düsseldorfer Namensgebungen wieder. 1954 wurde diesem Brauchtum mit dem Radschlägerbrunnen auf dem Burgplatz ein Denkmal gesetzt (geht zu N 51° 13.639 E 006° 46.305). Its an old tradition in Düsseldorf to turn wheels. In the past, children asked for "a penning" (like a dime) from people after they turned a wheel for them. The symbol of the "Radschläger" can be found on many different souvenirs from this city. 1954 a fountain honouring this tradition was build, the "Radschlägerbrunnen". If you happen to be in town, go to N 51° 13.639 E 006° 46.305!
