About This Item

This is a token from Boot Hilll Museum in Dodge City, Kansas. Boot Hill got its name from the first cemetary in Dodge City back in the 1860's. The cemetary got the name Boot Hill from the fact that a lot of the people buried there (the poor and undesireable) were buried with their boots still on.
