Last minute holiday to Southwold . . had booked Swanage but it went 'pear-shaped' so ended up here . . and very nice it is too. 'Soma' in Reydon, very blowy day, but luckily dry. Quick cache on the pier before having a cheesy dinner.

After a quick hotpot in the cafe I found this cache with Olney1 whilst Maymor was reading in the car & MissElaineous + Marv had given up and headed back home. We had hoped to nab a fair number of the caches in the area, but gave up after just this one as it was very wet and the midges were in biting mode 😈 ! Loved the area and will def be back next time we visit family in Manchester πŸ™‚ .

😁 😁 😁 Wow, I couldn't believe that we'd beaten DragonTree to the FTF for The Last Post, especially as its on their doorstep! It wasn't quite the cache and dash that we had anticipated. The clues were brill but our GPS kept trying to take us away from the obvious place but we got there eventually! The cache container is brill, not seen one quite like that, it's a real feat of engineering on the inside.

😁 😁 😁 Ouse valley way Mile Marker #57. It was a bit of a shame that we did this one at night as we missed out on the views, but we entertained the local moths with our torch & just about made out two swans swimming in the river! Quick find and co-ords spot on. FTF prize = £1, which we'll use to buy a lottery ticket in case our good luck continues! Our 2nd FTF of the night . . but only our 3rd in total. 😁 😁 😁

Final cache at the end of our weeks holiday in North Wales, staying @ Tan-Y-Graig, Hafod Elwy. We were retracing Olney1's meanderings, looking for his 40-150mm Olympus DSLR zoom lens in lens case which he's lost somewhere in North Wales, but still not found it yet 😟 Lotsa very hungry midges around GZ & incredibly wet day . . soggy socks!!!
