Cousin Caterina has always enjoyed photos of her real life tortoise cousins Baby Sherman and her namesake Caterina, so she’s decided to go walkabout and visit them. And what better way to fully enjoy any trip than “caching” a ride with fellow Geocachers! She’d love to have her photo taken, especially with you and your Geopet. By the way, Cousin Caterina is rare in Australia because we have no native tortoises! Please do not reveal Cousin Caterina’s 6 digit tracking number (on metal tag), or leave her on a table at an Event. Thank you for sharing Cousin Caterina’s visit with you!

Hurray!!! This is fantastic news!!! It took her eight, long months, but Cousin Caterina safely made her way to a new cache and has been retrieved! 😁 Thank you very much to the mystery cacher that kindly dropped her into a safe cache in Christchurch, New Zealand! And a special "Thank You" to the Alien Kiwis for picking Cousin Caterina out of all those other travel bugs, and to Mrs. Alien Kiwi for letting us know she's alright! We really appreciate it!!! 😎

Found Cousin Caterina at the Travel Bugs Renewal GCMWF1 near Christchurch Airport - she hadn't been logged into that cache, but she is safe and well and temporarily living in Nelson with the Alien Kiwis. Let me know if you would like me to drop her into another cache here in Nelson, or try to get her back home.

Sadly is looks like Cousin Caterina has disappeared along with the cache "Two Views" GCNGAC.

A very special "Thank You!" to all the kind folks who took her caching with them or discovered her along the way, and an extra "Thank You!" for all the wonderful pictures!

We still have hopes that she'll slowly but surely turn up again one day, and continue her travels!
