Mid size coin with heft. The color and enamel work are well done. Front has nice depiction of an eagle over a three masted sailing ship. There is slight relief work with excellent background metal texture in the medallion. Nice use of theme with the "rope" edging between the medallion and the outer rim design. Reverse has various symbols of the navy. The medallion also has script that says "Anchors Aweigh" and a ship's wheel. The rim script says "Active, Reserve, Guard, Veteran, Retired Family". Part of a series of public service coins. Lots of polish and enamel. Nice coin. ----------------------------------------I have had so many of my trackables go muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals.
