My new geocaching buddy (cachengator) and I got Amelie today. We are on our way for a cruise to the Western Carribean. We will check to see if there are caches near our port of calls for one of us to place her in, and the other to retrieve her from. That way she will have more exotic locations to her name. If caches can't be found then she will have her picture taken at each port of call to put up on her page. When we get back, and head for home (northern Indiana), we will place her in a cache at the closest point we get to the Louisiana border on our route north. I have uploaded a picture of Amelie and cachengator.

Saw this TB while volunteering in the visitor center. Wish I knew someone headed down to Gulf Shores that is a cacher. Amazing how paths cross. I know Beetleman and we might have just missed. Hope someone gets her on the way.

As of January 10, she is still visiting the Traverse City Visitor Center. Beautiful view of the blue bay and near cloudless sky. An unusual day for winter with little snow and temperatures in the 30s.

Just had to take this TB from the small hotel in order make room for the one from Luxembourg that I wanted to leave. This weekend I'm headed to St. Louis and will try to find a good place there to drop her. [Note added Nov. 28: didn't have time to find a good place in St. Louis, so who knows where I'll put her now.]
