...eine richtig schöne alte Personal Coin, die hier heute zusammen mit einigen anderen in die Sammlung einzieht!! Außergewöhnliche Form für eine alte Personal! Als kleiner geschichtlicher Hintergrund: der St. Patrick's Day ist jährlich am 17. März und auf den irischen Bischof Patrick, der als erster christlicher Missionar Irlands gilt und im 5. Jahrhundert gelebt haben soll, zurückzuführen. Geburts- und Sterbetag sind nicht bekannt; seit dem 7. Jahrhundert ist der 17. März als offizieller Sterbetag überliefert.

...a nice old Personal Coin, that's moving - together with some more - into my collection today! Special shape for an old Personal!! As for some historical background: St. Patrick's Day is each years' 17th of March and is going back to the Irish Bishop Patrick, who was named first Christian missionary of Ireland and should have lived during 5th Century. Birthday and day of death isn't known; it's back in the 7th Century that the 17th of March first is delivered as date of dead.
