About This Item

Noah's Bug

Noah's bug belongs to a thoughtful and funny 7-year-old. Noah hasn't traveled much and would like for his bug to travel. However, it's the journey and not the destination that matters to Noah's bug.

Noah's bug wants to travel on an airplane, train and boat. It would be especially cool to go on a helicopter or submarine.

Noah would love to see pictures of his bug's travels.

We took the TB for a ride on the San Diego trolley today. We are still waiting to find out about the helicopter ride. If we can't take it on one, then we will move it along soon to new adventures. 🙂

We grabbed this cache and hope to bring it on a couple of adventures. We will call a friend and see if we can get it on a helicopter, and maybe we'll take it on the trolley, or Coronado ferry. We'll post pictures when we get them. BTW our 3 yr old daughter gets a kick out of seeing her pulse inside the jewel!

Dropped him off in a nice cache here in San Diego's 80 degree December days. It's in the shade of a nice big tree. Tried so hard to put in "The little Engine that Could Cache" but we were never able to find it! :( But it rode all over San Diego with us. Maybe the next person to find it will be more adventurous.

Thanks Noah for the great TB! We discovered this TB in a cache in a cactus here in San Diego. It was our 100th cache found!! We will gladly send him on his journey soon.

Took Noah's Bug tuna fishing with me! Left the docks at San Diego bay at about 1:00 am and set off for the long trip southwest accross the Pacific. We got into some albacore tuna about 40 miles off shore, not very big but fun to catch and very good to eat! These are the fish in the picture... A couple of hours after taking this photo I broke my leg in a freak accident... It happened just after we got into a huge school of some very large yellow-fin tuna!!! I had to set the rest of the trip out in the cabin of the boat with a large bag of ice on my leg. I was hoping to get some pictures of whales and for your bug page and a shot of a submarine as we passed the sub base here in San Diego. Oh well!!!

I took this bug from one of my own caches... This is something that I normally would not do, but I have a few things planned over the next 2-3 weeks that I think Noah will get a kick out of. I'll attach photos with my next entry.
