The Coin is guarded by the Sungod Huitzilopochtli, and therefore wants to travel around the world in sunlight. For dropping, choose only caches outside, and, if possible, not permanently in the shadows. (eg. behind a raingutter: perfect, if the sun reaches it once in a while. not ok, if it never catches any sunlight.)
