About This Item

Moon

This geocoin belongs to the Moonlanding series. I have dedicated him to Buzz Aldrin who was born January 20, 1930 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. He was the Lunar Module pilot on Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing in history. On July 20, 1969, he was the second person to set foot on the Moon, following mission commander Neil Armstrong.

Really COOL coin. This one will be easy to place due to the size. I remember watching when
Neil Armstrong said those wonderful words, "This is one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
It still amazes me that we've gone there and back again. Thanks for sending this coin out.
