Mai 1961: During a speech given before a joint session of Congress on May 25th. President J. F. Kennedy expressed the goal to reach the moon by end of the 1960s. This was the start of the Apollo project. July 20th, 20:17 UTC: "The Eagle has landed". For the first time a manned mission landed on the Moon. This coin is to remember this special moment. I want to travel to a cache in the surroundings off Kennedy Space Center, where the Apollo 11 was launch.

Found it today in "5 Mark für einen Cache". Unfortunately I can't take it to Florida but since I've been there some years ago I can at least provide a picture with some souvenirs from there. I hope it makes it one day!

Deze hebben wij in de handen van die Kratzer gezien. De originele coin van deze soort heb ik ook schon gezien, ze is zeer mooi. Maar de listing van de coin is niet aktueel. Daar staat, dat de coin is alleen in en cache te discoveren....
