Mai 1961:
During a speech given before a joint session of Congress on May 25th. President J. F. Kennedy expressed the goal to reach the moon by end of the 1960s. This was the start of the Apollo project.

July 20th, 20:17 UTC:
"The Eagle has landed". For the first time a manned mission landed on the Moon.

Today, July 20th 2009 we have the 40th anniversary of this event.

A sufficient cause for a nother special Geocoin.
