Enjoy Remember where you were when man first walked on the moon
Mid size coin with heft. Excellent 3-D work and design. Comes in several color and metal combos. This one is two tone shiny copper with silber background and silver glitter. The front has the landing capsule with a life boat approaching. There is a commercial "G" but it does not detract from the design. The rim is in silver glitter and has raised capsule images in metal. The raise script says "July 24, 1969...16:50:30 UTC" and "Apollo 11 Mission". The medallion script says "N13.19, W169.09" the touch down coordinates. The reverse has excellent 3-D work and shows Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin. The rim is done in silver glitter and lists the names of the men and "1969-2009" Interesting point, this is a Euro coin and celebrates the accomplishments of the US in space. Excellent coin. ----------------------------------So many of my trackables have been muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals. If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks. EL

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Thankfully, she still had a few notes that helped guide my search for the same trackables that she had already discovered. After looking at the TB page for each of the TBs that she had discovered, I found that a large number all belonged to several individuals and sent a message to them individually inquiring about permission to log their trackables. This travel bug was on the list that you shared with me.

What an exceptionally large, but especially beautiful collection of coins and travel bugs are in this life work / project
I admire the work of making copies of it and sending them around
You gave me the idea: I also made this week a copy of 10 coins to let them travel in the coming weeks
Very nice specimens and interesting pages
