About This Item

AMTG Upik Nuannertoq GC 1

Hand made.  Large coin with lots of heft.  2.6 inches by 1.6 inches 9 nn thick aluminum. Unusual shape.  The front of this coin has heavy 3-D work and shows a stylized bird with long feathers.  The feathers extend beyond the coin rim and adds to the design.  The reverse is all metal with hand written script.  It reads "mickebush77" and "Upik Naunnert 09".  There is a scratched drawing of an igloo.  The tracking information is computer generated.  Excellent hand made coin.

Designed and produced by mickbush77. hello daveindeal i have my home foundry with a gaz oven and another one electrique. i did lost wax technique and it's expensive. i did my homemade geocoin (upik nuannertoq) with a lot of detail, 100 coin. with the materiel (crucible, polishing kit, gaz, ceramic shell, petrobond, clear, laser graving......), my time and the activation code; the prize of the coin is expensive i sell it for 20$ shipping included and..

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually. After looking at the TB page for each TB that she discovered that I didn't, I found that a number of TB Codes necessary to discover the trackable were included on the TB Page itself or intentionally or as a spoiler in the photo gallery. Sometimes there was an attempt to obsure or hide the TB Code that was not entirely successful making it fairly easy to determine the TB Code needed to discover the travel bug.
