AMTG British Bobby GC 1

Mid to large coin with heft. Unusual shape. Nice design and enamel work. The front has heavy black enamel work. There is very nice intricate 3-D work on the crown of the hat and on the badge. The detail is so delicate that a magnifying glass is need to appreciate the workmanship. The medallion has a "badge" with script that says "ER" against green enamel. The "rays emanating from this part of the design are so delicate and well done that it is often overlooked. This is due to the large area of black enamel that makes up the "helmet". There is more 3-D work but it is restricted to edge work. There is script around the inner medallion that says ""Geocaching Police" in the same metal color against dark blue enamel. The reverse continues the heavy black enamel. The medallion script says "It's A Fair Cache, Guv!". The only other metal work (other than the edge work) is in the crown of the helmet. This mirrors the front and is done indelicate scroll work. Nice coin that incorporates excellent detail against large areas of plain enamel work. Very nice coin.. ---------------------------------------So many of my trackable have gone muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals.
