Current Goal

Smokey has been in Wisconsin for a while and would like to spead his wings a little farther east. He was would love to go to New York City and see Ground Zero perhaps and/or a FDNY firehouse. However,he is not very picky and would be just as happy roaming a forest somewhere.

  • Man Cave Here I am in my friend's man cave. It's just the place to relax before the long trip I have ahead of me.

  • Code 3 Well, not really. But I enjoyed the ride none the less. It's been fun resting here surrounded by all of this memorabilia. Team Grout is planning just the trip that I was meant to go on. I'll be leaving for Ground Zero in a week or so if all goes according to plan. I can't wait.
  • Command Post This was the site of the Port Authority Police Command Post at the World Trade Center in New Your City.
  • Ground Zero This is as close to Ground Zero, World Trade Center as one can get. The new construction can be seen in the background.
  • "The Fire Factory" Saw this truck on the street and was able to talk this fire fighter into taking this picture for us.
