To spread bike awareness.
Bikes are every where. Motorcycles, bicycles, scooters, wheel chairs, and there are many tricycles that people with a disability use share the highway with us motorists. They have all the rights that we have and we should treat them with respect, be courteous and give them extra room.
They are harder to see which is why we have to look twice. We have to keep our eyes on the road, be alert and know what is around us.
When you come to a stop sigh, come to a complete stop, wait three seconds, then look left, right then left again. As you pull out look right again. Make sure you didn't miss something. Accidents can be prevented if we all pay attention. Being on the highway is a privilege, it comes with responsibilities and we must all be responsible for our actions.
Do you have any ideas on keeping our highways safe, please post them in your log.
